We usually return all calls within two business hours and most calls are serviced within 48 hours. Since every service call is different, and traffic can sometimes be unexpected, our turn around time can vary significantly. If you don't hear back from us quickly, please call again. Messages are sometimes lost!

Offering a mobile automotive diagnostic service involves a lot more than you would expect. The main factor of our pricing is due to the tremendous cost of purchasing and updating factory scan tools for almost every make and model of vehicle. As you can imagine, the maintanence and fuel costs for a vehicle running 12+ hours a day, 5 days a week can add up quickly as well. Don't forget, we come to you! Although you may get a lower price over the phone from someone else, how many times have you experienced first hand that you get what you pay for. We always stand behind every service we perform and do not charge for any error on our part. We guarantee the vehicle will be right before we leave your shop. Although the cost may initially sound higher, the value you receive from our service is second to none!

With our daily exposure to almost brand new vehicles and their technology, we tend to stay slightly ahead of the curve in terms of information and repair procedures when compared to most shops. Have you run into a new system that has you confused? Are you still trying to understand a problem that seemed impossible to solve? We offer training and instruction based onwhat you wish to learn. Instruction can be provided one on one or for small groups on almost any light duty vehicle technology. We also offer scan tool training as well as laptop set-up.

It is much shorter to list what we don't work on. Diesel diagnostics, mechanical transmission faults and battery drains are the few areas we don't get involved with. Other than that, if it's a computer controlled system in a modern vehicle, give us a call.

Let's face it. Somerset Mobile is not the cheapest mobile service. Nor are we the fastest to respond. However, the value we present as a whole is unmatched. There is usually a reason a mobile diagnostic company can respond to you continually within a few hours. When you don't provide good service, you usually don't have enough work to keep you busy. Another service may respond faster than we can, but do they offer the same level of knowledge and tooling we provide? Or have you become used to hearing excuses for an unfinished job? You will find most mobile services are priced almost the same. A few services have decided to offer dramatically reduced prices in an attempt to steal work from others. Once again though, we believe you will find those services to offer dramatically less in terms of knowledge and tooling. They have lowered their prices to attract new calls because the level of service they offer has caused very few repeat customers. Don't be tricked into believing all mobile automotive diagnostic services are the same. Somerset Mobile Diagnostics is one of very few services that offer a high level of professional knowledge combined with continually updated factory scan tools. We are in the business of providing answers to your diagnostic problems, not excuses!

We currently operate throughout central NJ, including Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth and Mercer counties. We also service parts of Morris, Union and Ocean counties.
